One of my favorite authentic noodle places in SGV. I always get the beef stew noodle soup with handmade noodle or the noodle with special pork sauce if you want dry noodles. The soup noodles are actually the best though- you get the most portion of fresh vegetables and beef, significantly more food than the ramen places around here. Other places don't give you as much beef!
Service is also super fast. The beef roll and scallion pancake are not as good as other places- I would pass on that here.
One down side is that it is cash only so you have to bring cash, and another downside is that the dining room is a little small.
Had a wonderful dinner last night at Mandarin Noodle House. I drive by this place all the time, but had no idea how great it was until my friend recommended it. We had the cold tofu salad, dumpling soup, and spicy shrimp noodle soup. Everything was excellent.
The portions are large and everything was flavorful. The Spicy shrimp was not really spicy so would recommend adding chilly oil or paste.
Service was really quick too! Denny was attentive to everyone's needs, charismatic, and kind. Overall very welcoming place.
Will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu :)

Updated review..... decided to revisit after a long absence, and a bad review. Glad to report they're Back as #1 on my list. Their Spicy beef noodle soup w/Handmade noodles is absolutely the best, anywhere!
I had a problem with their chicken chow mein last time, but happy to report that it was fresh & delicious as ever this time.
It's a distance and an effort, but plan to return frequently, it's really worth it!

The food here is the same recipe and preparation as far as I remember- excellent.
The owner and staff are friendly and helpful - excellent.
My norm is takeout though the ambiance while I'm waiting for my order is okay, clean and basic.

This place has THE best beef noodle soup in all of SGV, even better than some from Taiwan: flavorful broth, melt-in-your-mouth braised beef, and hand-pulled noodles. It's a family owned, small mom/pop shop that has stood the test of time. The best part is, it's cheap/affordable! Do note, it's a cash only establishment.
Omg! I recently went down to So.Cal. and this was a place I went to 30 yrs ago. They had the best potstickers, mandarin chicken and noodles there. I am so happy that this place is still here and the food is exactly the same. DELICIOUS!!! I was talking to the owner and he is third generation owner. Sorry I didn't get your name, but I really enjoy talking with you. I am so glad that the restaurant stayed in the family and the food is exactly the same as it was when I ate there years ago. BEST potstickers ever.
We were planning to go have lunch there before we left, but ended leaving before they opened. So sad I wasn't able to eat there before we left So. Cal. I have told my friends who are planning to visit So. Cal. that they have to stop by your restaurant and have some delicious food. So. Cal peeps, go have some delicious food, if you haven't been there before. Oh, FYI...they only except cash. But you won't be disappointed.
This place has it all! The most delicious/authentic mandarin food, ambience, and wonderful hospitality you can get in the SGV! Denny is an amazing caretaker of this establishment and will always give you the best recommendations of food to try. Definitely a 10/10!

Saw this place located on the corner of a street and decided to come in and try. My boyfriend and I got the beef stewed soup with handmade noodles and dry noodles with spicy chili sauce. The food was great and still flavorful when eaten the day after! Could definitely tell this is a local hidden gem and would recommend. Note: Cash Only
